Week of February 8th - 12th
The first full week!!
ENG2D: This class has examined the role of words and the power they have in our lives. They have defined a list of words that they will then apply to their upcoming speech. We will be working on their speeches for the next week and a half. Beginning this week, bringing their novel is important as they will be given 15 minutes of silent reading at the start of each class.
ENG1P: This class reviewed some grammar, parts of speech and commonly confused words. They completed their first journal and as a class we will discuss and refresh some of the policies expected in English. We looked at Narrative's and how our lives are affected by it. This week we will look at the parts of a narrative and work towards creating their own.
ENG2P: This class looked at words that are often misspelled and parts of speech. We discussed when public speaking is important and the various levels of speaking out there. This class also learned how to use the written words powerfully by arguing their view on best pets. The class will be working towards their public speaking in the next couple weeks.
