ENG2D: The class has made their way through Lord of the Flies very well, each person was involved in a seminar for the chapters in the novel. The test is Friday March 12 and the assignment for the novel (Chapter #13) is due the Tuesday back from March Break. We will finish the novel with a viewing of the movie and a journal about the themes of the novel.
ENG1P: This class has made their way through poetry, a few of their own creation and a few examples from the textbook. An anthology of their poetry is due Friday March 12th, 5 good poems and 2 rough poems that have been studied in class over the last week and a half.
ENG2P: This class is working on Stones, the novel. They have been tracking the chapter's with a chart of their making, answering chapter questions and working on an opinion essay on a topic closely related to the issues of the novel. They will have more computer time available after the break as well as finishing the novel after the March Break as well. They will view a movie and answer questions on it as well as write a journal on the whole issue of 6th sense (after the break).
