ENG1P: This class is writing a test for "Crabbe" and will follow up the week with a movie that tells a similar coming of age story and the themes that are identifiable in the novel, are in the movie. We are going to work on writing an essay and our next novel this week as well.
CHC2P: This class is going to review the Second World War information as there is a great deal to learn. The class will view the movie "The Pianist", which takes place in Poland during the 1940's and chronicles what was done to the Jewish people during the war. The movie won awards and is very moving. Thursday is the Museum Display the class has been working on for their unit Summative.
ENG2P: This class will do a test review at the start of the week, write the test and then view a movie with accompanying questions. The movie has similar themes to the novel "Stones". In addition, the class will be given time to work in the library on their essay. Either persuasive or expository on the topic related to the novel. They will have two full periods and a half a period in the library for research and typing.
